The last few days saw me travelling north via Knutsford and the glory of Booths Supermarket. Some Christmas shopping achieved from the so wonderful ranges they have on display . If you have not been to Booths, I do recommend a visit.
I was travelling with my youngest son, Christopher to meet up in Plumley village for lunch with my friend of long standing , Roy .
We , Roy and I , have been partners in crime for the past 60 years and have shared many an adventure across the world with the Middle East and Asia being our play ground . A book full of experiences that one day I may pen.
Roy is due for a heart op this month and is a tad scared but I had the same some 5 years ago so he should be ok.
My family liken the two of us to characters from the Kermits and my photos show give a good example of this. We both spend many calls, emails and hours prognosticating on the political future for this country.
Hence , we are called Stadler and Waldorf!!!
A light piece for a bit of fun with the underlying worry he has in advance of the heart operation.
Ralph Warburton.
