A Crane Correction

Your comment in Chatbox on the wharf crane is incorrect.

The original WAS removed, never to be seen again in the early seventies. The present one originated from Audlem station and was donated by Baxters when they demolished it.

And to us incomers, who have only been here 35 years, the crane looks part of the landscape as though it's been here since the Dark Ages
