Well, we enjoyed a very autumnal Saturday at the shop tasting sausages!

Thank you to everyone that came along to cast your vote. We had a great response to all three of the shortlisted sausages but alas there can only be one winner!

The winner was Annie Goodwin, a pupil at Audlem School with the winning flavour combination of; Cheshire Cheese, Cranberry & Chive.

This taste sensation is now crowned the 2014 Audlem Sausage.

We look forward to arranging a date for Annie to come in and help the team to make a batch of sausages to take home (I hope you have plenty of room in your freezer!)

As the winning flavour, this will now be on the counter on a regular basis and hopefully will become a favourite of many of our lovely customers.

Our sausages are all handmade with natural skins, using outdoor reared pork with no added rusk, giving a very meaty and juicy sausage.

We also have 10% off all pork until Friday, (this excludes sausages & cured products) so get out your favourite pork recipes and speak to Simon about your requirements. All of our pork is locally sourced and is extremely succulent and flavoursome.
