150th Anniversary at Audlem Methodist Church

This weekend sees further events marking the 150th Anniversary of the Methodist Church in Shropshire Street.

• On Thursday evening (4th at 7.30 pm) 'The Story So Far 2' features a sing-along video presentation of this February's musical.
• On Friday evening (5th at 7.00 pm) there is a Church Family Birthday Meal to celebrate the anniversary.
• On Saturday (6th between 10.00 am and 4.00 pm) there is an exhibition of photos and artefacts from 150 years of Methodist and local history.
• On Sunday (7th at 10.30 am) there is an Anniversary Service, led jointly by present minister, Andrew Gunstone, and previous minister, Bill Seville. Bill was minister in Audlem between 1983 and 1998.

Tickets are extremely scarce for the Thursday and Friday occasions, but all are welcome at the exhibition and at the service. Light refreshments are served on Saturday to accompany the exhibition and a piece of 'anniversary cake' should be available to the congregation on Sunday morning. The exhibition will open again after Sunday's service.
