The latest edition of Towpath Talk, the largest circulation canal monthly, has a very positive review of the first book published by Canal Book Shop, based at Audlem Mill.

The book features 34 coloured pen and ink sketches by local artist Sheila M Webster of all the historic boats that came to the Festival of Transport on 29 July.

“A Sketch of Time – Historic Narrow Boats, One Day in July” is described as a “charming and unusual book”.

The first print run of the book has already sold out, and a reprint is due to arrive on 26 October.  Both the book, and Towpath Talk, a free paper, are available at Audlem Mill.
