The next big event in the village is the Audlem Beer Festival, organised by ASET working with Audlem’s pubs.

It’s over the Bank Holiday weekend from Saturday 27th – Monday 29th August.

No less than 75 cask beers and ciders will be on offer in the village’s three pubs, the Bridge, the Lord Combermere and the Shroppie Fly. Many are local to Cheshire, Shropshire and Staffordshire and the organisers promise a range that will suit every palate.

Last year’s Beer Festival was a resounding success with great ales, a commemorative tankard – and a new one has been produced this year – lots of live music and, for those that want to stay locally, camping available near to the pubs.

Anyone who attended last year’s Beer Festival, or was at the Audlem Music Festival back in May, will know that this a village that knows how to throw a party.

More details on the beers and ciders as soon as they are available.

Our photos are from last year's event and feature the tankard (in front of the Shroppie), the stacked casks at the Lord Comberemere – apologies for the lack of focus as our photographer was possibly shaking with anticipation at the time – and the very informative programme describing all the beers and ciders available.
