News from the front is shortish and sweet this week as, on the last day of last term, Youth Club bid a fond farewell to our lovely hosts at the Baptist Chapel in readiness for our new chapter at the Public Hall.
We marked the occasion with a bit of an Easter bash (games, chocolate, you know the drill) and presented Alan and Judi with a card of thanks signed by all of our young members. There is something else on the way for them, but we didn't get organised in time...I blame the EU referendum.
So, to this evening, Wednesday 13th April. It's our first week back after the Easter break and we meet at the Public Hall for the first time. Our new start time is 7.15pm but do note that we will still be finishing at 9.00pm.
We hope to return to the full two hours as soon as we are able. It's a voyage of discovery this first week but never fear there will still be the old favourites, tuck and toast and free fruit plus some 60 second challenges to get you warmed up for the rest of the term.
Not to mention a proper table tennis table, a lot of space and an entire playing field. Xbox? Pah! This is analogue nirvana...eat my tax return.
