It's half way through May and this month's Vote Poll is asking for your views on the experimental flashing lights in Stafford Street. We are not talking about the flashing 30mph signs on all the main roads into the village, but the three sets of lights warning, or supposedly warning that a vehicle is coming through the narrow section of Stafford Street. Sometimes they appear to work, sometimes they don't.

What do you think? At present the voting is going in favour of keeping the lights but it's far from a landslide. You can check out the results of this and all previous monthly Vote Polls by clicking on 'View Results' beneath the 'Vote Now' box. And you can vote, but only once, by making your selection of Yes/No/Unsure and then clicking on 'Vote Now'.
