Woore Road Street Lights

Our on-the-spot reporter has sent us this report of the latest state of the repairs to the Woore Road street lights after the accident and bridge damage many moons ago...

There are men working on the lights today – they are feeding a new cable from a new give way sign, to the new lighting pole and the old street lights. This will need to go under the end of Salford and up the main power pole to a fused box on the pole.

Latest update

All cables attached and fuse box in place (no road dig up). Now they await the Power supplier to make it all live (they tell me).
