Woore Road (A525) Closure

Local residents have received notice that the Woore Road (A525) will be fully closed at the New Bridge (Sandy Lane Bridge) during the day on Monday (July 24th) through to Wednesday (July 26th) next week.

The road will be closed from 9.30am to 3.30pm on each of these days.

When the operation is complete, the existing two-way traffic control lights over the bridge will be reinstated.

Fallen masonry will be recovered from the stream below the Bridge, and the damage will be assessed to plan for the work to repair it.
