Will SFBB really soon be here?

The BT Openreach website lists the Audlem exchange as "ready in June 2014" for SFBB (Superfast Broadband), and certainly there has been much activity observed in and around the telephone exchange and the various green boxes in the village.

However, there are only 12 days left in June and the SFBB group have so far been unable to get a clear statement on the precise timetable.

Unfortunately, confidence takes a further knock when it is observed that Audlem is listed as part of Crewe & Nantwich Borough Council, which ceased to exist several years ago! See here and then go to "exchanges coming soon" at the bottom of the screen for the timetable..
