Today, Touring Arts Visiting Audlem (t.a.v.a.) is presenting 'Them with Tails'

by Tall Stories and Network of Stuff, a totally unique show for everyone aged 5 and up. It's from the creators of The Gruffalo and is today, Saturday 30th September, at St James' Primary School.

It starts at 2pm with the production of 'Them with Tails', followed by refreshments at 3.00pm with homemade goodies. Then, from 3.30 – 4.30pm, there's a Workshop. For tickets enquiries, call Janet Warrington on 811250.

"Tall Stories sets the benchmark for children's theatre" said the Sunday Times while the previous production also attracted rave reviews. "Irresistibly charming" said The Times on 'The Gruffalo'.

So, be prepared to be amazed as 'Them With Tails' tells three unlikely tails and one impossible one, creating a world of stories, comedy and a lot of silliness – where your most ridiculous thoughts can spring to life. Stare at Them With Tails and gasp as you meet characters from all over the world.

Roar as animals come to life before your very eyes!

After the play, there will be an opportunity for children to participate in a one hour drama workshop with exercises and creative games designed to get young people up on their feet, smiling and telling tales. It's for children aged 5 – 8 who must be accompanied by an adult.

Just in case there are any left, tickets are £2.50 for children and concessions and £4 for adults for the play. It's £12 for a family ticket. For the workshop it's £2. Places are limited and booking is essential.

t.a.v.a's supporters include: Audlem St James School, Cheshire Rural Touring Network, Audlem Parish Council, Crewe & Nantwich Borough Council and Cheshire County Council.
