Wednesday Wanderers Walk

The next Wednesday Wanderers Walk is on the 14th October at 09.30 a.m. and will be led, by Peter Jackson.

We will start at the Town Hall Car Park and make our way via Hillary Drive and Heathfields Road to Monks Lane, after a while we will take the lane to Woolfall. At the junction of Longhill, we go right to Sparrowy Spout Lane towards Bunsley Bank Farm, and then cutting across a field we rejoin Monks Lane until we reach Mill Lane. We will then then make our way back to the village.

The walk is 4 miles long, with one stile which is in good condition and dog friendly.

NB. All walkers must have suitable footwear and be prepared for adverse weather, carry food and water to last for the entire walk and be suitably fit for the various lengths of walk.

Each walk is led by a nominated leader who will carry some first-aid equipment. The leader has the right to refuse to include in a group anyone who is felt not be adequately equipped.

Non-members of Audlem Rambling Society (ARS) are welcome to come on a walk but are expected to join ARS and pay the membership fee after a trial walk or two.
