As regular readers of AudlemOnline will know, the webteam are not the least bit obsessed by viewing figures – far from it since sometimes as much as ten minutes elapses without the editor anxiously checking the statistics.
However, inspection of the viewing figures over the last few days reveals that people clearly, if inexplicably, find something else to do on lovely sunny days other than look into the website.
The visitor numbers on Saturday (at just 1691) fell well below the 2000-odd average daily figure for the month so far.
Fortunately, as a few clouds drifted over the village on Sunday afternoon, readership rose again as the barometric pressure fell. Which just goes to show that for the readership statistics geeks at AudlemOnline, every cloud really does have a silver lining.
