Water overflowing in Salford

A local resident writes: "Just before the Christmas break, the Council started to repair a leak in Salford and left the hole they had dug surrounded by a barrier.

"It is still there and the water is pouring across the lane and has worn another hole in the road. With the cold spell it is fortunate, as far as I know, not to have caused an accident. Have others been concerned?"
