The Medical Voluntary Transport scheme in Audlem, which Audlem & District Community Action (ADCA) took over from ADAS in April 2014, needs more voluntary drivers!

This is due to the steady increase in referrals. The scheme has now provided voluntary transport to nearly 90 people, including 25 trips to the Audlem Medical Practice and the rest for hospital and clinic appointments.

If you want to find out more, please come along to the information session which ADCA is holding at the Lord Combermere in the Square, Audlem on 5th February between 1.00pm and 2.00pm.

Voluntary drivers are paid expenses and receive training and support. The scheme is part funded
by a Cheshire East Council Community Transport Grant.

If you are unable to attend but are interested in becoming a voluntary driver, please ring our office number on (01270) 747163 and leave a message for us to get back to you with more information.
