Village Fete in Hankelow in June

Ann Jones writes: "For the first time for quite some years, Hankelow Amenities Society is holding a Village Fete from 2.00pm on 15th June, 2008. This year's Fete will include a Balloon Race in aid of MENCAP. Also planned is a special gymnastics display, Maypole, Snugbury's Ice Cream, Saxophonie, and Children's Sports, together with many other stalls and attractions.

Everyone is welcome. To raise funds for this event, the Society is having a Cake Stall on Audlem Carnival Field on Monday 26th May, 2008, when they will also be selling Tags for Entry in the balloon race.
