Chippy: Miracles do happen

A reminder that the Village Chippy re-opens today, Tuesday, after being closed last week.

Last Monday was an extremely nervous day for me as not only was Alexi having her little operation but George was having the camera down his throat to see how his valve was reacting to the antibiotics.

Well I'm so so happy to say that in his doctor's words: "George the miracle we said we needed... It's happened!" so George has escaped major heart surgery!

We really can't believe it...we are so thankful for this miracle...and Alexi came through her little operation OK...picked up a slight infection but just continued in her Daddy's footsteps with a course of antibiotics! ;-)

So after a week off the chippy will be back open as usual today.

I personally would like to thank all our lovely customers who have continued to pop in and show their support for George, anybody who has said a prayer for him, for you all being so understanding during this week off with my little girl and have had patience with me behind the fryer!
