Update on the "lost" Walking stick

The stick that was reported lost the other day is found, and returned to its joyful owner.
My thanks have to go to GAVIN, who spotted it leaning, lost and lonely, against the wall by the Cash Machine outside the Co-op. Finding that it was still there some time later, he took it in hand, for safe-keeping.

Later, he saw my message on the AudlemOnline website and rang to let me know it was safe. I collected it from him yesterday, at almost the exact spot where I had left it.

I have promised to keep a better eye on it henceforth, and have attached a sticky label with my address and telephone number -- so that next time I lose it . . .

If YOU ever 'lose' anything in the village, GAVIN is the man to seek out. If he hasn't spotted it, chances are nobody will ever see it again.
