Hereford Beef

We have some Hereford beef in stock from David Charlesworth at Hinstock.
David is one of our long standing suppliers who has been with us from the start – nearly 3 years ago!
David rears his cattle slowly on land that is farmed sensitively with the preservation of nature a key priority. This low input farming method, combined with the slow maturing, more traditional cattle breed produces a wonderful flavour and quality of beef.

Wagyu Beef

We still have a few select cuts of the last Wagyu carcass available, if anybody would like to try some please ask the butcher!

Farm Butter

We have got a new product line in this week – Traditional Farm Butter from Westry Roberts at Whitchurch. This is fresh cream butter with a little added salt. At £4.25 for a 500g block, it is not the cheapest but the quality and taste speaks for itself – try some on a warm scone fresh from the oven or mash some garlic and herbs into some and pop on the top of a delicious dry-aged sirloin steak!

Cumberland Sausage

Zoe has been very busy working on a new Sausage recipe! Due to customer demand we realised that we had a gap in our regular sausage selection, we didn't have a "herby" "peppery" sausage suitable for a sausage casserole or for those with a more savoury palette. Zoe has made our version of a Cumberland sausages with cayenne, white pepper, sage, nutmeg & mace. If this tickles your fancy, come and try some – constructive feedback would be very much appreciated!

Music Festival at Number 11

We are really looking forward to hosting a fine array of talent at the courtyard during the music festival weekend and we welcome you all to come and enjoy these performers with us and also to sample some of our food & drink offerings at Number 11.
All of our neighbours will be open and there will be something for everyone – steak sandwiches, delicious food, cakes & coffees from JA's, Fresh Juices from The Juice Spa, Snugbury's Ice cream from LLLovely & of course superb wine and beers from Winegeek.
