Tribute to Anne Farr

Might I use your columns again to convey my thanks to the many many people who wrote letters and cards of sympathy at our recent bereavement.

I received so many communications that I was overwhelmed. I should find it difficult to reply individually and I hope they all will accept this my thanks.

People from far and near sent their condolence. but most of all the village people.

At least fourteen hundred people looked in on my tribute to Anne and It goes without saying that the hole in my life is enormous

Anne would have been astonished to read them as she always thought herself unremarkable and probably not even noticed.

She didn't know she had so many friends. So thank you all again.
