Last year the History Society in Audlem organised a very interesting talk on the local railway by Jeremy Nicholls.

The team at Overwater Marina were intrigued to discover that the route of the old railway
line runs next to the farm track alongside the Marina. This track is used, with permission from the Maughan family, by walkers who leave the canal at Bridge 80.

The Overwater team would like to create a "Railway Trail" to enlighten walkers of days gone by.

Jeremy has been fantastic in assisting with some interesting text – but the team now need some graphics or photos to liven things up which are either original artwork or non-copyright.

Are there any budding artists out there who would like to help? It's not a paid position but you would have the pleasure of seeing your work on the noticeboards for years to come!
Many thanks.
