If we seem a little short of news today, your editor has to admit attention has been on the Scottish referendum.

Indeed, AudlemOnline HQ has seen an influx of Scots arriving yesterday afternoon after casting their vote. At present, we don't quite know if it's simply a family visit or an influx of refugees from North of the Border.

Naturally, we didn't press them too hard on which way they voted but, from those that were open about their preference, there's a split in opinion.

While we now know it's a 'No' decision in the Referendum, it's been an enjoyable experience hearing just how engaged a group of Scots were with the big question they were asked yesterday.

Their visit, and the Referendum, has certainly distracted one of your AudlemOnline news hounds from getting out and finding what's happening here in Audlem. That, despite a very late night waiting for the Referendum results, will hopefully be put right today!
