'Music as a way of Life' photography exhibition with Sophie Mazingarbe
Hoc's Fat Pigeon

Sophie Mazingarbe is a young international photographer. Since moving to the UK from Paris, she has mainly worked with musicians and media figures, garnering praise in the process for her adventurous and insightful pictures.

Music as a Way of Life is the title of this year's exhibition of her work as she is returning to the Audlem Festival. It will comprise a wide selection of her pictures gleaned from 5 years spent with both the Famous and the Unknown as they lived and breathed Music.

11:00am – Mike Vaughan
The Coffee Lounge

'Teacher of composition and music at Keele University, he has had works recently performed or broadcast in such diverse locations as Havana, Tokyo and Skopje. Whenever he gets the chance he also enjoys playing guitar....'

12:00pm – Beautiful Embroidery. South Cheshire Embroiderers Guild
The Methodist Church Hall

A magnificient dispaly of the craft and creativity of their members. Finish time 4.00pm.

1:00pm – Loud Mouth Women
Mill Shop /Canal Wharf

This group of women are a festival favourite with their own brand of a capello vocal performance.

2:00pm – Jim Kirkpatrick
Blues Alley

Jim Kirkpatrick has become something of a must-see for blues fans locally, with appearances at major events including the V Festival and T in the Park.

2:30pm – Boat Band
The Bridge Inn

The Boat Band have been sailing the seven seas since 1989, they've played Glastonbury Festival thirteen times, and the St Kilda International Cajun Festival once (there's only been one). They've also played a few times in Audlem, and they are glad to be coming back.

3:00pm – Foxy Wellingtons
Lord Combermere

The Foxies are influenced by The Libertines, Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes performing their own material with the odd very clever cover.

4:00pm – Roydan Styles
Blues Alley

One Voice, One Guitar, One hell of a night, or afternoon as is the case!

4:00pm – Photo Booth Smile
The Bridge Inn

Photo booth smile – performing a stunning set of self penned material and covers. "Vocally strong, the distinctive sound brought the final throes of the evening to a fantastic climax, this band are one to see now!

4:30pm – Loud Mouth Women
Butter Market

This group of women are a festival favourite with their own brand of a capello vocal performance.

5:00pm – The Reads
Lord Combermere

"Looking forward to bursting everyone's bubble of happiness with our needle of melancholy" Superb band that just make the festival atmosphere...and only here!

5:30pm – Robin Pierce – Acoustic Based 3 Piece
The Bridge Inn

With an acoustic guitar, loop pedal and a laptop this live performance is interesting and entertaining to watch, performing some perfectly pristine acoustic pop for all, with a good mix of feel-good and chill-out tunes laced with some quirky covers.

6:30pm – Monkey Shoulder
Lord Combermere

'Loud, very loud... but not to be missed band, It's grungy heavy and rock full on with some nice twists in the set".

7:00pm – With Bob on Our Side
The Bridge Inn

Festival goers can expect to hear all the Dylan classics with a few numbers from 'The Band' thrown in for good measure.

7:30pm – Audlem Voices
St James Church

Founded in 2008, Audlem Voices have quickly become a firm favourite amongst Audlem's music loving public.

9:00pm – Twin Frets
Lord Combermere

Popular duo who still excite the Audlem audiences. Sample the exciting playing of Willy Fluss and the cool mellow guitar and vocals of Vernon Fuller – Bebop, Blues & Beyond with Grooves Galore!

9:00pm – Gambler
Shroppie Fly

You all know this fantastic local rock band. Great vocals, mean drumming and guitar solos. For more information visit: www.myspace.com

9:30pm – Live Band Karaoke
The Bridge Inn

Come and join in performing karaoke classics with a Live Band.
