Success for Audlem at awards night

In recognition of three 'Best Kept Village' awards in a row, last night Audlem received the Award of Excellence at the Cheshire Community Pride presentations held in Wilmslow.

A new plaque commemorating winning 'Best Kept Village' in 2006, 2007 and now 2008 was presented to Audlem Parish Council chairman Richard Furber. It will soon grace the wall in the Square, a wall that may soon need extra support given the many awards won in recent years and now proudly displayed in the centre of the village.
