On Saturday morning, along with the magnificent help of Janice Spibey, Bill Consterdine and Susan and Charles Caville, I stood all morning in the cold wet and miserable weather that we had.
Collecting for the love of the 30th Anniversary of the very noble Hospice, St Luke's.
Together we raised the sum of £305 plus 1 US cent, 1 Euro cent and 1 Barbados cent. What possesses folks to put such silly coins in a collectors bucket is beyond me.
But my sincere thanks to our little brave team for the splendid sum we raised – and to all those very kind persons who freely gave the coins and notes as we stood there.
