Something for the Weekend?

Regular readers may have noticed over recent weeks a number of articles recalling personal experiences by local residents. Geoff Farr has been sending in articles like this for some time. Bob Cartwright and nigel Epps have followed in recent weeks.

At weekends, the webteam is trying to create a more 'magaziny' or 'weekend supplement' look to AudlemOnline. Yes, we will continue with any hot news but we would like to introduce some articles and other features just as national newspapers do in their Saturday and Sunday editions.

To achieve this, we need our readers' help. If you have had any interesting experiences – possibly while travelling, in your careers, possibly encounters with the great and the good, or simply amusing or meaningful events in your life, we would love to hear from you. It doesn't matter how long the piece is, we will happily consider it for publication as long as it's likely to be of interest to our readers.

We are looking at other features, such as a Saturday Quiz with answers on a Sunday and possibly seasonal recipes. Again contributions will be very welcome.
