Sizzling Sausage Competition as Oxtail & Trotter Celebrate their 2nd Year of trading

Having spent two years searching for the perfect sausage, we have had to endure lots of trials and tastings – it's a hard job! But at long last we think we have found it.

Our new range of pork sausages are all gluten free and made up of over 90% outdoor reared pork. They will be on the counter from Saturday 12th July and we are very excited about them.

To celebrate our 2nd birthday on 26th July, we are launching an exciting competition to find the Audlem Sausage. We would like your suggestions for the perfect flavour combination to reflect the vibrancy of our much loved village!

If you can think of the perfect flavour or just a flavour combination that you think might work, then please send us your suggestions.

To launch this competition we are inviting you all to join us at Oxtail & Trotter on Saturday 26th & Sunday 27th July for a Sausage & Cider Celebration (with a bit of birthday cake thrown in)!

We will be celebrating with some of our other local foodie friends at Number 11, Cheshire Street, Audlem and welcome you all to come and taste our new sausages and some other culinary delights.

Entries will open on Saturday 26th July and can be sent via Facebook, Twitter, email info@oxtailandtrotter.com or you can pick up an entry form from the shop.

The competition will run throughout the summer and the winning entry will get the opportunity to spend an afternoon producing their winning entry with the Oxtail & Trotter team and take home with them 102 sausages free of charge!

And remember your sausage could be crowned the Audlem sausage. The winning entry will be chosen by the general public thorough a taste-off of 3 shortlisted entries – date of this event to be confirmed later in the summer.
