Sign stolen but still open for Christmas business!

We were disappointed to hear last Saturday morning that the sign advertising our Farm Fresh Christmas Turkeys, that had been displayed in our own field, on our own trailer, had been found a mile down the road in a field in Buerton.

It crosses your mind to wonder if it was someone playing a prank, however, these perpetrators were obviously determined. To remove the banner, it meant wading a rain-sodden, muddy field and climbing up the trailer to reach the top corners of the banner.

The banner was then not just removed by cutting the ties that held it in place, but unfortunately cutting the corners so that the loop holes can not be used again. In fact, the only way that the sign can be used again, is by displaying the sign attached to a piece of wood!

We have informed the police.

It is very upsetting, when you are only trying to advertise your own business and vindictive people attempt to destroy it. Despite this we are still open for business! Farm Fresh Christmas Turkeys are still available at Gorse Croft on 01270 811334 for £2.80 per lb.
