This week's Chronicle pictures Shroppie Fly landlord and lady Andy and Kate Griffiths and a group of local fundraisers after a charity night at the pub raised enough money to buy seven-year old Liam Broadhurst a new stroller.
Liam, who lives in Crown Courtyard, suffers from a degenerative disorder which has cerebral palsy-type symptoms and is unable to walk or talk. His new stroller means he can go out in all terrains and weathers to participate in community activities.
The Shroppie Fly held a raffle and put charity buckets on the bar to raise £500 for the special lightweight 'stroller' wheelchair. Liam's father Darren is delighted with the stroller, which arrived from America this month.
Kate Griffiths of the Shroppie Fly said: "The response was fantastic. Liam is happier and he is smiling a lot more."
