Short-ARS on Saturday

This Saturday's Short-ARS walk sees Audlem Ramblers returning to an ARS favourite, the Highfield circuit. It will be led by Jean Stainthorpe.

It is approximately six miles and mainly flat walking.

The route takes us along the canal, to bridge 72 near Adderley where we branch off, pass through Hawksmoor Farm, cross parkland with fine views of Highfields, some road walking then across fields with good views of the church and village.

Meet Audlem car park at 9.30 am.

NB All walkers must have suitable footwear and be prepared for adverse weather, carry food and water to last for the entire walk and be suitably fit for the various lengths of walk.

Each walk is led by a nominated leader who will carry some first-aid equipment. The leader has the right to refuse to include in a group anyone who is felt not be adequately equipped.
