The past few weeks have been extremely hard for both teachers and parents. We were hoping that COVID wouldn’t have an impact on the children, staff and parents but it still is.
As a school we have focused on the emotional well- being of all children to ensure they could talk about their worries or concerns. This has been so important for them as this was a tool in supporting their understanding of what is happening in the world at the moment and reassuring them again that it’s good to talk about our feelings.
I believe that we can all learn from this as we must all ensure we keep on talking about any worries or concerns that you might have and look after each other.
The children have been fantastic as normal and have worked extremely hard on their learning throughout the week. I have been impressed with their attitude to learning and the work they have been producing. I have realised that I might now need to buy some more Headteacher stickers!!
