Some odd snippets from this week's newslteter

Amethyst Class wrote invitations for a space party, wrote a list of all the food to take for a picnic on the Moon and wrote a description of an alien

Sapphire class have been investigating 'The curious case of the missing mammoth.'

Pearl Class learned about Leonardo da Vinci's designs and made a prototype parachute to test.
(Ed – the mind boggles!)

Amber Class relaunched their Resilience Passports

Emerald class investigated splitting writing into paragraphs by theme and using fronted adverbials.

Ruby class had a crash course in moonwalking, which they then incorporated into a larger dance routine to Michael Jackson's 'Thriller'!

Diamond class used a new piece of digital equipment: multimeters. This meant they could measure the amount of voltage between two points, with precision.

And everyone has learnt from Children's Mental Health Week, the theme for this year being 'Growing Together'.

And on Tuesday the school took part in the national day looking at safer internet. The theme this year was looking at 'Exploring respect and relationships online'.
