Audlem Saints continued their current run yesterday morning playing Nantwich Diablo's in the Crewe Soccer Centre Blue League.

After observing a two minute silence before the game on Remembrance Sunday, the game started at a blistering pace. A goal from Isaac within the first three minutes opened the game and our usual confidence began to show. Another three goals came very quickly and we were 4 -0 up after 10 minutes.

Audlem were back on the pitch after the break and another two goals completed the victory for us.

As I tell the team after every game, we have to defend as well as attack. Unfortunately the defenders who are performing very well at present and have only let in fifteen goals all season (we have scored more in our last three games) do not always get the recognition they deserve.

Today I want to say a BIG well done to Raif Seriff, Thomas Teale, Sam Moss and Tyler Walters for standing their ground in defence and keeping a second clean sheet in as many games.

All at Audlem should be proud at the way the boys conduct themselves during the fottball, winning is very important to them, but their friendship, sportsmanship and friendliness is more important and it shows in their behaviour.
