What another good night at the Lord Combermere, biased I know, but great to see and hear Roydan Styles playing here in Audlem with the Duffey Boys.
Down from his native Bury, Roydan has a real affection for our village, and is already making camping arrangements for the Audlem Festival next May.
His guest set included his own self penned work, a great cover of Howard Jones' What is love (with Orville... you had to be there to see what your missing!) and then covered one of Darren Poyzer's greatest songs Julie Rainbow accompanied by Jason Johnson on guitar.
To top it all, it was Landlord Allen's birthday! Great Thursday nights – next week Dave Nettleton and Kelly Bramer are on, another promise of a great night's local music.
