Roadcleaners hard at work

With the leaves falling in huge quantities, as you would expect at this time of year, it was good to see Cheshire East's road cleaning team hard at work yesterday in Audlem.

Kerbs and gutters were cleaned and the roads cleared of leaves, helping to avoid skids and saving residents with trees an enormous amount of work.

And, particularly impressively, it wasn't a quick run up and down along the gutters but a return sweep or two to clear the leaves and other debris from the centre of the road, as seen here in the photo taken at AudlemOnline HQ.
