Road closure later this week

Last week Audlem Online reported a road closure in Nantwich that would close the normal route, Wellington Road, from Audlem to Nantwich town centre for four weeks in February.

Now, there's another road closure coming up this week to contend with. The road from Audlem via Hankelow to Nantwich and Crewe will be closed at the junction of the A529 (to Nantwich) and B5071 (to Crewe) from 9.30am – 4.00pm for three days this week – Thursday, Friday and Saturday, that's 21st – 23rd January.

Known as Oak's corner, there are already signs at the junction warning of the closure – but there's a lot of detail on the signs to take in as you drive by.
