River Weaver water level

Yesterday, we published photos showing the River Weaver in flood. You may be interested in this link to Environment Agency reports on the river level at Audlem sent to us by Norman Huntbach.

The data shows the last 48 hours of river level data at Whitchurch Rd bridge. Friday morning came close to a historical high 'and the level is again rising with the 10.7 mm rain we had on Friday night.

We have also received from Norman some fascinating footage dating from 1946 showing the River Weaver in flood with all of Northwich town centre under many feet of water and boast cruising up and down the main street.
