Canal closed but towpath open
Repairs are being carried out at Lock 12, which is that closest to the Bridge Inn.
The canal is closed to boat traffic but the tow path is open and fully usable.
The works are described by the Canal & River Trust as 'Carry out works including relining the top gate, repairing the bywash and repairing the stop plank grooves'.
The work is scheduled to last until 24 January.
