Rain prevents play

Both of Audlem's cricket teams were beaten by the weather on Saturday in their Cheshire Cricket Alliance matches.

The 1st XI should have played Bowdon Vale 1st XI at the Gorse Croft, whilst the 2nd XI were saved the trip to Chester to play Westminster Park 2nd XI.

All cancelled matches attract 7 points per team. The 1st XI remain in third place in Division 2 and on Saturday travel to Stockport to play fourth-place Offerton.

The 2nd XI remain in fourth place in Division 4 and on Saturday entertain second-place The Groves, who are based at Ellesmere Port, at the Gorse Croft. The match starts at 1.30 pm.
