Radio visit this morning

The Mend our Mum media coverage has been amazing. Now, the Radio station that serves Audlem so well, BBC Radio Stoke, headed here this morning.

Presenter John Acres interviewed the production team, notably Alisdair Mackenzie and Pete Marshall, plus Janet Maughan who was filmed in the video on the water at Overwater Marina in a dinghy and, of course, Berni, Hannah and Terri Cliffe.

The piece also included the news that Amazing Grace by the village of Audlem should be on iTunes this afternoon, with luck. If so, the search should by Amazing Grace Mend our Mum. We will post further details as soon as we know it's up.

Berni had also been interviewed earlier on BBC Radio 5 Live.

Last night's coverage – both regional and national – was phenomenal. The presenters of the news programmes, as well as the reporters, kept saying what a wonderful story it is.

A big "Thank You" to all that have been turning out, even at the crack of dawn yesterday morning, to help the broadcasters. It really has added so much to the coverage. You are doing Audlem proud.
