Racing Pigeon found

Gail has posted the following message on Chatbox which we think should be broadcast more widely:

"Racing Pigeon, looks healthy, green band on left leg (code 5971) and pink band on right leg that reads GB14P39458.

"Does anyone in this area own it? It is quite settled in our front garden and seems reluctant to go?"
