"Thank you" from the Fire Service

David Roberts writes: "On behalf of the Firefighters Benevolent Fund and the Audlem Fire Cadets, I would like to thank all those who supported the charity car wash event held at the Fire Station recently. Everyone involved had a thoroughly good day and your generosity raised £420 which will be split between the two organisations.

"We hope to hold a similar event in September so watch out for details later in the summer. Thanks again for your support. David Roberts, Watch Manager, Audlem Fire Station."
