Peter Silvester writes: "Saturn, the only remaining Shroppie fly boat, is currently moored opposite

Audlem Mill, and it is understood that it may be there for a day or two.

"Over 100 years old, "Saturn" was originally built for a fast 24/7 service on our local canal and beyond, for perishable cargoes, before spending much of her working life on the Birmingham Canal Navigations.

"Saturn will of course be returning for the weekend of 7/8th June, as part of the Cheshire Floating Gardens Festival. But for a sneak preview of this beautiful old boat, come down to the Wharf now!"
