Public Hall to become non-smoking venue

Following public consultation and careful consideration by the Committee, Audlem Public Hall will officially become a non-smoking zone in all public areas (including the toilets) from January 1st 2006. This action should result in a reduction in insurance premiums for the Hall and the new, upholstered, chairs which are to be provided very shortly should also benefit from the lack of smoke in the atmosphere.

All regular users and occasional hirers will be asked to strictly observe the rule, and ensure that their guests also conform.
