Public Hall Stage refurbished

While the APHAx (Audlem Public Hall Annexe) committee anxiously await the outcome of the stage 2 of their bid for Big Lottery Funding, the stage in the existing hall has been splendidly refurbished.

We have a completely new wooden stage floor and the front of the stage has been remodelled with three entrances to allow better access to the space underneath.

The old dusty, earth floor of this space has been levelled off and given a layer of asphalt so that now it can be used to provide some badly needed extra storage.

This work has been carried out by Eastfield and has been part-funded by a grant from Cheshire East.
