Praise for Audlem

The August issue of Waterways World, available from Audlem Mill, contains a cruising guide to the Shropshire Union Canal, part of which runs through Audlem.

The article is very complimentary about Audlem, its pubs and Audlem Mill canal and needlework shop.

Copies of Waterways World are flying out, it seems. Williams' newsagents tell us they sold out of their first batch yesterday, but are expecting another 30 copies in tomorrow, Wednesday.
