Power Outages

A flurry of power outages have been very troublesome recently. Although not for a long duration, they have been frequent. Some residents were complaining that power had been off six times over a two day period.

The webteam have spoken to local resident Mike Harthern, a former Power systems Engineer, who has established from the Power Distribution company that the problem was caused by a cracked insulator on a 11,000 volts overhead cable. This cable is thought to be located close to Coole Lane.

It would seem that the problem is now fully rectified and further outages should be unlikely.
