'Pound'ing the streets for Adam

Today, Brian Evans of Williams' Newsagents, will be taking part in the Manchester Half Marathon and "Pounding The Streets For Adam".

Adam Lovatt, Brian's neighbour, was tragically killed on his birthday in Audlem earlier this year. Brian, who is a life long Liverpool fan, will be wearing fancy-dress in the form of a Manchester United shirt – as a tribute to Adam.

One of the aims of the "£1-ing The Streets for Adam" campaign is to ask just a single £1 donation from anyone wishing to sponsor him (or more if desired...) on the 13.1 mile course. All proceeds will go to a charity of Claire's (Adam's widow) choice.

Police investigations into Adam's death are still ongoing – anyone with any information is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting IML 73945.
