Join the Committee or Direct a Show for the 2025/26 Season

Do you have a passion for the performing arts? Fancy getting more involved in the vibrant local theatre scene? Audlem Theatre Company is currently planning its 2025/26 season and we re looking for enthusiastic local people to join our committee or direct one of our upcoming productions.

Our committee meets once a month and helps steer the direction of the company everything from planning productions and supporting the cast, to marketing, budgeting, and running show nights. No previous experience is necessary just a willingness to get stuck in and be part of something creative and rewarding.

We're also on the lookout for directors for two exciting productions:

A spring adult-cast play, ideally a comedy (our audiences love TV-inspired farces!)

A summer youth production, with an all-under-18 cast this could be a musical, a play, or a variety show, but must be able to involve lots of young people.

If you 're interested in directing, we ask that you nominate a show title. All suggested shows must be licensable for amateur performance in the UK. The final shows will be chosen by the committee.

Whether you're a seasoned director, a community-minded organiser, or just someone who loves theatre, we d love for you to be part of our next chapter.
